I study Japanese so that I am able to read manga.
まんがを読めるようになりたいので、日本語を勉強しています。
I have been studying Japanese for about 2 years.
日本語の学習を始めて、2年くらいになります。

I am good at reading Hiragana but I am not good at　remembering what I have learnt.
ひらがなを読む事が得意です。学習した事を覚えるのは大変です。
Chiyo is a nice teacher. I think the lesson is a little bit long for me.
知代先生はいい先生です。レッスンは少し長く感じます。
I would like to be able to understand what other people say in Japanese.
周りの人たちの日本語を理解できるようになりたいです。
